I've been having this idea for a puzzle game, but i would like to first know if there is anything like it first.
The idea is a traffic simulator.
Each level is composed of a network of roads. Cars are in the roads ("they can spawn at precise locations"). Each car has a goal, to get somewhere. Each car has one of many possible behaviors (scripted AI or something), like slow driver, guy who like to cut others, etc, etc just like in real life.
The goal of a player would be to place traffic signs (and program them, in case of lights) to optimize flow of traffic. Or make the player actually lay down the roads and the signs, something like that.
Is there any game resembling this out there?
Thanks.
