[Beginner-intermediate]Python programmer needs something to do

Well my title pretty much explained it all.But to elaborate on it, I am in high school and I have nothing to do in my spare time, so I figured I would learn python. I've been doing python for a while now, and now I wanted a project to work on, since I plan on getting a career in the game programming industry. Please post here if you have space in your team for me. Thanks :)

Hey, I could use some help getting a game together, been looking for a programmer/lead on the game engine since I'm a 3d artist.

I have a business plan and intent to make a profit on it. Involves snow, racing and mmo.

What game engines are you familiar with?

It's not my project, and it might stray too far from your game interests, but Blender is going through a major refresh and they can probably use a lot of help. It's all python internally and you can probably learn about a lot from it. They have a todo list just for new developers joining their team of easy features that need to be implemented.

Just an idea if you're still looking for stuff to do.

i would join your team, but it looks as if you only need php developers,and while I do have some php experience, I would rather use python,simply because I want to get a strong understanding of python before I go to a different language. Please let me know if an opportunity arises.

no your wrong there we need python and java scripters there note you don't see java there either :D

Been doing some small things on Blender so far it's going pretty good and I've learned quite a bit more since I started this thread :). If anyone needs a network programmer or server side scripting etc. then I would be glad to help out!

Hey man, if you're willing to steer a bit away from Python or maybe a project with other languages incorporated, I'm looking for some programmers to help out with my club's website.

We're working on turning it into a game site. I'll send info in a PM and you can see if you're interested.
