HEre are some questions that might help you think about a zone name:

1) Is there a particular theme to the zone?
2) Is there a particular race or monster that is common or well know in the zone?
3) What is the backstory for the zone?
4) Is there a particular feature of the zone (eg: mountain, ruin, etc)?
5) What is the environment of the zone (swamp, forest, etc)?
6) Who livs there?

These should help spark your creativity and also give us some information to work of to help you.

Ruins of the lost Empire


You can find some Name generators that will allow you to create fantasy type names. They can be for NPCs, location, food, books, drinks, etc. They way that most of the work is that you create a list of word fragments, then these word fragments are combined (according to some rule or even just randomly) into the words you want. They usually produce lots of results and you can just pick the ones you like the best. IIRC there are even web based ones that you can use (they are typically used for PnP RPG games).
