Hi,

I am a web-developer and wanted to get started on the game development. But couldn't get time, till now (still not enough, but what the heck, let me get started).

Can anyone suggest me where to get started. I wanted to get started with this:
http://www.mousebreaker.com/games/viroidz/playgame

I have no idea how to get going. So, please pardon me if this is still beyond me yet, but I could use any help. Thanks.

I'd suggest you take a look at some of the articles and resources on this site's home page - in the upper left-hand corner, click Home. From the menu on the left, under Resources, you'll find a lot of good info to help get you started.
