Hello,
I'm facing this problem and I'm hoping maybe someone can point me into the right direction. I'd like to create a flash application that does something different everytime it runs depending on an external actionscript file. For example, let's say I create a file called external_file.as, and in it i type:
When I run the .swf file, I will get a "Hello World" written in the middle of a blank screen. What I want to do is: without editing the .swf file, I can simply open external_file.as and change "Hello World" to "My name is Ispiro.", so running the .swf file would print out "My name is Ispiro.".
Is this possible? And if so, can someone point me into the right direction as to how?
Sorry about my English, it's my second language.
Best Regards,
Ispiro.
