[java] Applet And Jars, noSuchMethod Error

Hello I have an applet that I'am trying to launch, and i notice when deploying it to a web page using the applet code of

Now when i try to launch it I notice nothign pops up, so upon further investigation into the java console I realize that the method getPitchName() is not found. Now the thing is ddcg is dependant on axmsound to work, and the method getPitchName() exist in axmsound.jar, where as the application itself lives in the ddcg.jar, and the application code that live inside the ddcg.jar imports some of the classes and methods inside axmsound

So basically how can I make the applet detect the axmsound? it seems to work fine when working in netbean but when it comes to actually launching my applet it doesnt work. Help is greatly appreciated thank you!.

You could try reversing the jars in the archive tag eg: archive="ddcg.jar, axmsound.jar" (I dimly remember having to do something similar once) or failing that unjarring and rejarring everything into a single jar.
'method not found' is an unusual run-time error though - are you using reflection or something?

Hey thanks for the reply what I found as the solution was I copied directly what netbeans created for jar files instead of packaging the code myself, even tho the files were the same I guess there was some kind of descripency with the versions and it didnt pick up on the other jar file. Thanks tho for the help
