Hello,

Does anyone know a article/tutorial for nice transparent windows with reflections? I would prefer one with no fixed function implementation.

Thanks,
Raxvan.

I don't know any articles, but I have done this before. What I did was first position the camera at the window, rotate it 180 degrees, set the camera's view to desired projection, and then render the scene to a texture. There I had the reflection calculated. Next I render the room and the window (I didn't need to do anything special to render the contents behind the window because I used the Portal method of space partitioning and I had set the window as another portal) then render the reflection texture over the window applying any after effects you want to make it look all pretty and stuff.

I know this may be a little vague, but all you need to know is:
Render to Texture
Scene-graphing or any method to render what is behind your window - I used Portal.
Rendering texture over window.
