I've found someone to work with on this project, Thanks to everyone who sent a response

Name: Reece
Experience: Very limited coding experience, I am looking for a project to work on to gain some experience as a coder
Compensation: None
Contact Information: Nysze212(a)gmail.com

Currently I'm in school but have a good amount of free time to devote to a project, I have done some work in Java, VB, and PHP. I have always wanted to further my coding skills but never had a project driving me to do so, so I think this is a great way to learn what I can. I am not looking for someone to "teach" me programing, I am very good at looking up information and problem solving, just tell me what to do and I'll find out how to do it.

I would prefer working with a smaller group that is working on a nice simple project, nothing too ambitious, I would also like the opportunity to provide some input in the design process.

Thanks,
PhyerBoss

Out of curiosity. Would you also be interested in web development projects?

Not likely, it depends on what it is though, more details would be great.

May I ask, how old are you? You mention that you're still in school, and whether this means high school or college makes a huge difference. People in high-school can't be bound to a non-disclosure agreement.

Interesting... I've always programmed my hobby projects myself, and haven't ever worked with another developer on any of my projects (I've been programming since I was 8). However, professionally I work in systems development, framework design, and program controls for a company that writes 34 different applications. So I've got significant experience working with other developers, just not *developing* with them. And honestly, it may be time I look at bringing someone else onto this five year project (which should have taken me 1 year) to perhaps speed up development.

How much free time do you have to dedicate to a project? How experienced are you with VB.NET? Do you have any previous projects so I can get an idea of where you are with your coding style?

I understand that you're just starting out here, so some mentoring will likely be necessary (especially to understand my convoluted framework), but this will be a learning experience for me as well. As a side-note, I've written the first part of a tutorial in how to do 3D programming, so have a good deal of experience in this gaming realm too.

Please send me an E-Mail at temp@peculiarhabit.com (I hate giving my real E-Mail on forums, as I've had it for 15 years and have been good about keeping spam out. I'll ping you from it once we've traded E-Mails).

We can worry about NDA's later, as the framework still needs a good bit of work before we have to worry about the actual game objects.
