directshow decoder

hi, guys.
I use the directshow to display some videos, but I must provide the decoder installer for some specific files.
So my question is how can I code the decoder into the program, or just something like dll?
When you build your graph , i guess you are not specifying the decoder filter but using Intelliconnect to just connect the source filter with the renderer filter ?
If that is the case , I`d suggest using GraphEdit to visually see exactly which decoder is being used
If that decoder is one of those which are shipped with Windows , already no need to re-distribute anything , otherwise
you should find the binary/binaries , which actually is a COM object , and in the installation process you should ensure that it will be registered
on target system ( regsvr stuff)
If you are able to write the necessary decoding algorithm , you can either build your filter or you can execute the algorithm as embedded
into application in ISampleGrabber interface
To find out which binary is the filter you are looking for , you can either make a search in registry or use a friendly tool like this one : http://www.softella.com/dsfm/index.en.htm
After finding its binary , if you want to run a graph employing this filter in target system , in console you should type "regsvr32 binary" or if you want to make this process programatically
you can call DLLRegisterServer function : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms682162(v=vs.85).aspx
If you want to embed into your code , you need to implement it.
