Hello,
I'm interested in game programming for Android so I'm gonna try to make a simple game.
The final goal is a multiplayer game, but I don't know which "medium" I should use: bluetooth, wireless...
I really don't have any idea what's the standard nowadays or how it actually works, as I'm just starting out.
The thing is I would obviously need to test this thing out, so I'd probably need to run one instance of the game on the PC emulator and another one on the actually cell phone.
So If I would choose bluetooth I'd have to get a bluetooth reciever for the PC obviously.
As I said, I have no idea what to use, so the question could be summed up to: how can I make multiplayer games for android so that I will be able to do some testing with my PC as "another" android device (note: I'd like to avoid using the internet as a connection medium).
