C++ and Java coders looking for project

We aren't exactly coders, we know the theory but we lack practice, we don't have any previously done serious work.
We want, practice; we offer, volunteer work.

We don't expect from you to baby sit us, we can take responsiblities. Coding will be our job, therefore we are trying to learn it, and we are done with reading books and doing exercises.
So it came to the next step, which is joining a project. Basicly I mean that, we aren't gonna disappear in 2 days, we are serious about what we are talking because one day we will earn our lives from it.

So, if you want a c++ coder, or both java and c++ coders, who are interrested into learning the language and how to apply it succesfully. Give us a shot.

I don't care about what kind of project you have as long as I can apply c++ on it. And my friend codes java. I know people usually either use java or c++, but not the both. So, you might need just one of us.
However if you are not one of those into the majority, meaning that you use both of the languages in your project, it would be great opportunity for us. But still I'm in if you need only a c++ coder.
Btw, my friend is also into the database stuff, so, he has still use even if you don't look for a java coder.
