simple free 3d model tool for unity, please read for destails.

im looking for something, that is very simple and can create models fast. they dont have to be the best in the world, as long as i can get basic shapes to work together, lets say to make things like a building with windows, or a basic car shape, with spinning wheels, and see thru windows. some basic textures, not very important.

any advice on a program out there like that?

you can try our modeling tool, it is very easy to use, of course it is not free, you can read our website to get more information about it.

Blender is a fantastic open source modelling package which is widely used in game development:

This is an excellent starting point!

I second kruncher's suggestion. Blender is fantastic! There are tutorials on the site that are very in depth.

Also, when it comes to Blender don't forget to search YouTube! There are some fantastic videos there for many of the features.
