I am using the debug window to return the D3DERR number of the error returned from various functions, but I can''t find in the documentation a numerical index of these returns. Does anyone know a way to find this?

Alternatively use the DirectX error handling utility library Dxerr8.lib which comes with the SDK.

DXGetErrorDescription8
DXGetErrorString8

Are the functions to use.

Thank you very much! I''ll play with those functions tomorow. And as always thank you for mentioning the hearder or library that the functions are contained in.
