I am having a problem with a jaggy line being produce where 2 polygons cross each other. As you can see in the screen shots below, the tiles of my terrain map interest the water, which is just a large square the size of the map. How can I get this to produce a nice smooth line between the terrain and the water where they intersect instead of the ugly jaggies? My video card is a voodoo3 2000 16mb ram. Try setting D3DRS_ZBIAS above zero when rendering either terrain or water (but not both).

Also, the absolute size matters. If your square side is longer than some 100,000.0, you start losing precision within 4-byte float, which results in shaking with subsequent z-fighting.

Thanks, my near clip plane was to close, setting it to further away smoothed it alot.
