Just curious if everyone else has trouble with them... You you edit my post, it doesn''t look that same as what I orignally typed, nor what is displayed...

m_spGraphBuilder.CoCreateInstance(CLSID_FilterGraph);
m_spGraphBuilder->QueryInterface(&m_spMediaControl);
_bstr_t bstrFilename = szFilename;
m_spGraphBuilder->RenderFile(bstrFilename, NULL)

The main thing I find annoying is that it seems to remove blank lines as well. It makes it difficult to post just a few snippits of code, since you usually use blank lines to separate the different blocks.

Oh, I have another error! It doesn't recognize when you close C-Style comments sometimes. Here, I'll try to reproduce it:

/* Comment on one line */
TEST
/* Comment on
multiple lines */
TEST2
/* Comment ending on
new line
*/

TEST3

Hopefully one of those triggers it...

[EDIT: The culprit is the single line C-Style comments I guess]

You're a moderator? Doesn't this belong in a programming section somewhere? ;-P

No! I'm complaining about the [ source] tag formatting on the board, not about the language itself. I suppose it really belong in the "GDNet Suggestions, Comments and Ideas" forum.
