Is there any one-stop solution for autodesk and adobe thumbnails?

Hi,
I am wondering if there is any software that can display all thumbnails of all autodesk and adobe files in the window explorer anytime?

I understand that 3dsmax assets have a bitmap of the scene, why isn't that used by MS?
