I think we need more options for Commercial Product License First: a single user sholud pay less than multiple users and multiple location. I mean 5500 USD is a big amount of money to pay for a single user right? Second: I will use the PR engine to produce a commercial games but I don''t need the source code for PR I need just the binary, so why should I pay for source code too? please make some changes there

Here here! There needs to be a one-person comercial license.

Well from what Chris said, old licenses are respected so logically, we have the right to do as was given to us by the license we purchased at the time. Legally, that would be the case as we have purchased a license with certain terms and the fact that new plans have been introduced, I think should be irrelevant to our licenses.

Legally, whatever the terms of the student license were, should still apply.

I guess Chris would have to comment.

The new license terms do not apply to old customer that licensed PR under different terms.

I will be making a commercial non source license available as requested.

In the license there is:
single derived commercial product

is this mean for each commercial product I should pay 1500$ ??

I really doubt for $1500 that I''m going to want to display the PR logo in my program.

It doesn''t have to be shown in the program itself. It can be in the documentation or product packaging.

We won''t be changing that. PR needs to be more visible.

I think you forgot to answer my question :

In the license there is:
single derived commercial product

is this mean for each commercial product I make with PR4 I should pay 1500$ ??

Yes, the engine needs to be licensed again for each commercial product.

If you don''t expect to make enough money from a commercial product to cover the cost of the engine maybe you should be releasing it as shareware instead. The licenses allow unlimited freeware/shareware products.
