Hi, lately I''ve been thinking about trying to do some ASM coding just for the fun of it. I''ve read some tutorials about it and it doesn''t look too hard, but I''m having trouble finding a good compiler. I''d really appriciate any suggestions where I can find a free ASM compiler. And it would be great if there where some instructions with it how to use the compiler too, because the ones I''ve found didn''t actually say anything about how to use them. It''s probably not very hard but hey, I''m used to VC++. CTRL+F5 and you''re off... Thanks...

In my opinion NASM is the best assembler for the x86 architecture.

It''s really simply to use, and has (IMHO) somewhat ''cleaner'' syntax than e.g. MASM.

You can download NASM and read docs on these sites:

I checked out NASM and it works fine. Thanks!
