I was in class today and somebody in the Operating Systems class sent everyone in my room a message saying "kiss my ass". I just wanted to know if anybody here knew how to do that in WinNT or Win2000. It was just a message box saying "a message from rodney00303 from lab3030303" then under it says kiss my ass.

From the command prompt: ''net send some.ip.address.here You got 0wned by my 1337 h4x0r skillz!!!!''
You can also do it by computer name instead of IP.

Cool, thanks Martee. I''ll try that on Friday when im back in the computer labs. Also, how do you send to multiple users? Or was that example you gave me for multiple users?

And another question, how do you do a printscreen? When we got the message, a guy yelled "alt printscreen!". I had no idea what the hell he was talking about.

You can use ''net send *'' to send to all computers, or, if you''re on a domain, ''net send /domain:domainname''.

As for question #2 ... press the printscreen key . Then open up a graphics program, and paste in the contents of the clipboard.

PrintScreen will take a picture of the entire screen, Alt+PrintScreen will just take a picture of the current active window. I just felt like pointing that out.
I'm reminded of the day my daughter came in, looked over my shoulder at some Perl 4 code, and said, "What is that, swearing?" - Larry Wall
