I was going to write a long essay trying to understand what exactly you are trying to achieve with these kinds of threads, but it's late and I really can't be bothered. So I'll just get to the point. It's one thing to post vacuous statements like this one, it's another thing entirely to prove that statement wrong. Pipe dream indeed. No offense, but perhaps you should start writing some code and getting some more experience so you can get an idea what you're talking about before you start thinking about revolutionizing the world of software development . Because quite bluntly, you talk a lot, but say little.

Dreaming is fine and something to be encouraged. Spending your entire life dreaming and talking about how great [insert idea here] is, well, it's your choice.

I'm sure i said future programming and put out my opinion (a lot) on what I want it to be.

Since this has devolved into a series of ad hominem attacks, I'm going to close it as non-constructive. Nathan2222: Just a small word of advice (and don't take this as me implying you are entirely at fault, here). A large part of the reason you seem to draw so much fire is your inexperience. Language design is a field that has had millions of man hours poured into it over the decades, so it really is the height of hubris for you to sit here with your admitted 3 months of experience, talking about how you're going to change it all. It's great to be excited about your ideas, but try to temper it with a little humility and pragmatism.
