What number do you use to register microsoft visual c++?

The one that is on the jewel case or on the manual. Should be in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Well, the manual would be that little booklet that comes with the CD Seems like you may not have bought the program though (burned it from school, perhaps?) In that case, look around for a different compiler, as there are lots of free options. I don''t know any specific names off the top of my head, but I''m sure someone around here does If you really did purcahse the program legally, try calling the MS tech support or something. You can also get the intro version of C++ (the same thing really) for like $40 or so I think.
