Try "OpenGL Game Programming" I have it and its really really good. It assumes you know nothing and then ends you with a simple game. From there you should have a good understanding of OpenGL and how to make games.

I agree with clrscr. "OpenGL Game Programming" is a great book that goes into many features of OpenGL. You might also won''t to try the OpenGL SDK reference or the red book for full coverage of all aspects of OpenGL. You yourself have to decide how they''re applicable to games.
