My name is Brian Linton. I am a programmer on Starflight III: Mysteries of the Universe . This is the authorized, freeware sequel to the greatest games ever (don''t argue with me ;-) ). We have the permission of Binary Systems and, contrary to popular belief, it is they and NOT Electronic Arts that owns the rights to the game.
Anyway, our current webmaster is short on time, and I cannot both program the game and consistently update the website, so I''m posting this message in the hopes of recruiting a webmaster.
You don''t have to be a god of web development, but you need to be competent with basic web technology and, most importantly, you need to be available to make consistent updates. Our fans are a restless bunch and the website has been lagging lately :-).
As I mentioned before this is a freeware project so nobody is getting paid. You will however, be a part of our team, and as such get to run our Alpha builds (and beta when ready), get your name in the credits of a recognizable project and be privy to development discussions (Hey, it''s all I can offer).
