The windows 2000 console all ready has a scroll bar. I didn''t think it''s possible to change the 9x console to have a scroll bar, but then I haven''t tried.

Open up your console (type "cmd" on NT or "command" on windows). You should be able to right click on the title bar of the console window then go to properties. You can then change the width, height, buffer size etc. If you change the buffer size (make it bigger) the console will use scrollbars.

Maybe he''s talking about the type of scrollbars that old DOS apps had?
