Hey! I am thinking of upgrading my OS soon from win98SE to win2000. My first question is: is win2000 a better overall OS for a home computer (fairly high spec, 1GHz Athlon, 384mb SDRAM + GeForce 2 Pro 64mb DDR) and also is it a better development OS. Also is XP better? But before I can install any new OS I have to fix a hardware problem I have. I have 2 20gb HDDs and I have them both partitioned. My problem is that the last partition isn''t configured correctly (according to scandisk) and because scandisk brings up and error no new OSes will install. ------------------------------ Baldur K

It depends on who you ask. I would say yes, others would say no.
