Hi!
I''ve been using Borland C++ Builder 5 a little. One time it chrashed. I have w2k so I just killed it with ctrl-alt-del. The next time I start it up, I get get a weird error message when I try to compile. Doesn''t matter WHAT I try to compile, if it''s an empty project with an empty form. Or something that worked earlier. I''ve reinstalled it 3 times (and yes, deleting all the files in the map left by the uninstaller in between), no change. I''ve even tried Builder "rescue installation" thing, where it rewrites the .dll files and whatever.
The error message is:
Debugger Kernel BORDBK51.DLL is missing or not registered.
Well, it''s not missing... I can see it... But what "not registered"?? It''s freshly installed and everything. Several times! nothing... Please help! I''m currently learning Builder 5 at school so I really need to be able to use it at home!
Oh, and another thing. I can''t uninstall Interbase. It says it''s running a server. But I haven''t done anything. It doesn''t help by restarting, nor does it help if I use ctr-alt-del (it says it couldn''t kill the process).
Please help!
