MFC Doc/View Problem

I''m trying to access my document from a form view by calling: COctreeConverterDoc* pDoc = GetDocument(); and here is the error being produced: cannot convert from ''class CDocument *'' to ''class COctreeConverterDoc *'' Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks; Prairie

What a rookie mistake I guesse I was too busy looking for obscure reasons to see the obvious.
