Hey all.. This is my first post, been kinda lurking for awhile. I''m up against a wall here and need some help. What I''m doing is processing a RBUTTONDOWN message and then running though a function to find out if the user clicked on an object. If he does, I want to pop up a messageboc with the id or name of the object picked. I can do all the GL_SELECT mode stuff and return hits, but when I create the message box, it pops up and WON''T GO AWAY! I click ok, and it comes right back, infinately. Here''s the function call as I have it. I even put it in a control if statement, and it still happens. if(mouseFlag == true) { MessageBox(NULL, str, "Sphere Picked", MB_OK); mouseFlag = false; } Any suggestions??? ~Draco

Hey man...

Thanks a TON! I did just that and it worked.

Thanks again. Now I can get back to work on the real meat of the program!
