Hi all, I created an animated cursor of a hand, wich i load using this: winclass.hCursor = LoadCursor(hinstance, MAKEINTRESOURCE(ID_CURSOR_HAND)); winclass is just a class i use for windows stuff. Now, the thing is, under Windows 2000 the animated cursor appears, no problem there. The thing is that under windows 98 i cannot see the cursor. Usually only a "occupied" cursor appears, the sand-watch or something... Hope someone can help me out on this one... Hugo Ferreira

A shot in the dark, but make sure the resource exists on Windows 98 too.

1. After you''ve opened your window, do a SetCursor() with the handle of your loaded cursor.

2. In your window procedure, respond to the WM_SETCURSOR message with the same SetCursor call.

3. Check that the cursor actually loaded!

4. SetSystemCursor() can also be used to override standard cursors.
