I just played ps2''s devil may poop, and it suxx. I mean, the game is maybe alright by itself, but on a tv, u dont see nuthin, man. What''s the point of having 1232364^999 polygons if u can''t see them. And its too dark on toppa that. I played that waverace on gamecube also. I don''t know, but it seems it''s just the same thing on the 64. It was a hell of a good game back then, though. Then I saw some dude playing that racing game on X-box. Didn''t even bother tryin it. Is it just me, or consoles suxx. I hated the FFs(xept the 3rd). Or maybe it''s cuz I haven''t owned a console since the snes(good ol days). But the pc, man, makes me dream...

My television features the magical ''brightness control''.

It''s also unfair to judge a console on the basis of one game. There are plenty of games for the PC that are terrible in every way. However, I know that not all games are like that.

Similarly, I know that there will be games for the PS2 that are terrible in every way. However, I also know that MSG2 will be out on the PS2, and that will be a sweet game.

It''s probably worth noting that many of the games out on the PS2 first of all will be conversions of games previously out on other consoles - they are unlikely to have higher-poly counts and use the special effects the PS2 offers - or games that were in development for other consoles but switched to the PS2 before release - they might sport improved features, but won''t be great.

Chances are, I''d say, that you''ll see really fantastic games for the PS2 when people have had enough experience with it to find out how to use it properly.

I don''t know, basically, looks like it''s the tv that I''m bitchin. tv resolution suxx. it''s unbearable once you taste the computer.

isnt mgs2 out already? I saw the tall chinese nurdass playing it on an ol-cheap-ass-peceoshit-crammy old tv today in the anime club. it was so ugly, that it hurt to see snake on it. I couldn''t look, and left the place crying.

Clearly, jello just needed to vent about the benefits of the computer screen over a normal tv (hdtv rocks). So now that he is finished lets leave him be. Although seeing he had an snes he should not have had a bad console expericence (seeing nintendo is the greatest).

Rhino. Greatest programmer ever, I summon you to handle this.

did I ever mention hdtv, u anonymous fagit? I know what it is and wot it does. But it''s like a million$, and it''s only x-box that takes advantage.

I don''t know, does ps2 have better resolution with s-video on a normal tv and hdtv?

Funny how many people make up facts without actually knowing if they''re true or not...

Dreamcast on a 52" tv with svideo sounds like heaven. Wish I could afford a new tv
I''m still saving up for the Panasonic 36" HSX. Same as Sony 36" xbr wega, but 500 bucks cheaper

Oddly, I''m unsure as to which ''tall Chinese nurdass'' you''re refering. Or, indeed, which Anime club.

You''re a funny man. Not on purpose, I suspect, but funny nonetheless.

AFAIK all TV''s use 800 x 600. Even though TV screens have a infinite color depth the color range isnt as wide as on computer screen. So.. computer screens > TV screens
