OK Dudes and Dudettes, what is the absolutely worst game you actually paid for, played and then vomited violently because it was soooooooooo bad? I''ll kick off. Reach For The Stars. I waited I don''t know how long for that to come out. Supposed to be a remake of an 80''s game which I ACTUALLY played a billion years ago. Anyway, shelled out my 30/40 spondoolicks, got home played and beat the computer again, and again, and again, and again. That was just in the first 5 minutes on the hardest settings. Absolute bollocks. D.V. Carpe Diem

X: Beyond the Frontier

A game which has no redeeming features. It''s bad, slow and buggy. I played it for about an hour before getting so irritated at having to wait for five minutes whilst the game reloaded just because I''d entered the keymap screen and then left. Without even changing the keymap.

Descent to Undermountain.

I drooled over this game waiting for it to come out. Paid $75(Canadian dollars, so thats about $2US ;-) and after playing for about an hour, it crashed. This is a game that would have given you 60-100 hours of gameplay. It kept crashing in the same spot, on the 1st level, and you needed to get by that spot to continue with the game. They released a patch, but it just let you get a little farther before it would crash. To bad I read all the media stuff after I had the problems, because I found out later that they had loads of trouble using the descent engine for this type of game(1st person RPG) and they released it prematurly to meet deadlines.

Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller.

This game was so bad it only made money because it starred Dennis Hopper and Grace Jones. You figure with some names like that it would be a high production title. Nope! It was the biggest piece of crud I ever paid for.

Runner ups are: Blade Runner and most of the non-X-Wing/Tie fighter Star Wars games.

Normality, and Pyst(a poor parody of myst)

Pyst was starring Jhon Goodman. But the whole parody thing in the game was actually buying it; and then they''d expect you to laugh at yourself after playing the game(which lasts about 10 min).

Luckily, I just paid 10$ for each.

also, I''m at school and I feel like crapping; it''s terrible.

Extreme Paintbrawl! ... (the ratings were so bad, i had to see why)

There''s some awesome AI in that game... walk into a wall, or instantly kill a person through a wall...

I don''t want to start anything, but I thing tiberian sun was a waste to 80$(cdn) I probably played it for about 45 minutes, and lost all interest in the game. Ohhh, and I cant forget deer hunter... what a waste of 20dollars that was.

Terminus. I should have known better. The ship controls were non-intutive (to me) and the triggers for completeing objectives are hard to set off.

BTW a friend of mine was a tester on Reach for the Stars, he didn''t like it much either, Too bad you can''t write up "Game Sucks" as a bug.

C&C Tiberian Sun

I was waiting for this game so bad, I bought right away when it came out without waiting for the tests, and I was so disapointed. Just a mission CD for the original C&C, it seemed. No "great new features", no "3D terrain". Just a lowres iso engine, with a still weak ai. Nothing''s changed. And the cool flair was gone, the movies in between the missions were lame

And above all, the missions were just plain boring. Played about half the campaign of GDI, then stuffed away the game, never wanting to buy another C&C game.

Paid $49 for it. Could have thrown my money into the trashbin.

Super Taxi Driver. The fact that I had only paid £9.99 was hardly a consolation. That £9.99 could have been used to buy a decent game.

I concur with Askadar. C&C Tiberian Sun was the worest game I ever played. I returned it the day I bought it... I was lucky that I wasnt'' forced to throw my money away... Then I went out and bought StarCraft which is the *B*E*S*T* RTS I have ever played! :-)

I forgot about normality. I paid £44.99 for that game. Urgh. And then it was so difficult I couldn''t work out the completely illogical solutions to the puzzles, so I got the walkthrough.

MGS2. Then again, I didn''t pay for it. Then again, if I had, I would''ve burned my copy in effigy for making me pay $50+US for a f-cking movie. Or at least return it w/ a huge scratch in the side and say I opened it and it was like that when I got home.

Horrible, horrible game to play. Good one to watch, but not that much fun in general.

Search For The King. It was an old Accolade game about some dorky guy who has to find Elvis. Painfully stupid.

Remember SNES? I got this horrible game called Mario''s Missing. WORST GAME EVER. Luigi should be shot and ran over repeatedly with a truck... and mauled by bears.

Forasken. Biggest piece waste of money. Meanwhile theres Counter-Strike, a game i downloaded for free, would have been worth paying $100(CDN) for.

My biggest waste of money on a game had to be Falcon Gold 3.0. Its no wonder it was called 3.0 because it took 3.0 days to figure out how to instal it and it was worth a whole 3.0 cents (CDN of course).
