Hi Guy's I'm looking for some Programming help on my racing sim game. I've got the vehicle physics covered, but need too get started on a good 3d engine,or setting up a pre made engine, and tools for the game engine.I know a fair amount about programming, but can't actually program, plus my time would be better spent making the content, and on research.I'm planning the game for commercial release, and need some one with experience,in C/C++,Win32,directX,and/or OpenGL.of course it's not a paid position,as of now.......and prolly won't be any time soon. There's just me,and a couple other people that make up the team for the project, and it will be kept to a very small group of people. It's a project, that will be finished,no matter what it takes, even if I have too do the whole thing myself,it will not be cancelled....so that shouldn't be a big concern The Game is all about American Muscle carswith some FPS elements, and I would prefer that the prospective team member has an interest in this type of game.I don't want too go into much detail about the game here, but it has a lot of cool features, and is sure too be a welcome site too the Racing Sim community. I also have design doc's,and a few other papers on the game. Any one interested in applying for the position,or having any questions, can submit mail to tcl71@yahoo.com home page http://bigblockshop.topcities.com/AmericanMuscleCar.html Thanx,TC Edited by - TCL on December 9, 2001 3:41:13 PM

Hmmmmm,I was hoping for at least some kind of response
Guess,no one''s real interested in racing sims here?

If any one happens too even look at this post, could you maybe let me know......if theres any thing you see, that I could do too make it more interesting to get some one to want to help?.........I understand, that writing a million lines of code, with out any up front compensation.......isn''t quite as attractive,as a nice paid position at one of the big game companies, but I would guess that the chances of getting hired for a position that pay''s any real up front money, are pretty slim........I could pay 40-50 bucks a month(I know it''s not a lot, might be in some country?)........if that would make some one more likely too want to help.Of course,I would expect some usable content though.

Well,I''ve got an old site that show''s some of my older work(not about the game though),but maybe I should make a nice site for my project.I really hate to give up too much information about the project publicly, but your prolly right about it gathering more intrest
