I''m currently looking for a programmer to help build a game. If you are a programmer serious about the building and completion of a game and you have knowledge with C++ or VB 6.0 and client/server programming then read on. Currently, I''ve been developing the design document and the graphics for two types of games. The idea is to eventually complete two games but one at a time. At this time I haven''t decided which game I was going to pursue and so that was going to be discussed with the programmer. The following is the descriptions of each game: Online CCG: The Online Collectable Card Game is of the same type of game as Magic:The Gathering except this is completely online. The gameplay rules rough draft form is complete and only needs to be test for balancing and gameplay issues once a working demo is complete. The design document is in rough draft form with the need of a programmer to help consult certain areas of it. Strategy Game: The strategy game I''ve been developing is similiar to the BBG ones out there with the exception that its a standalone client/server based game. Players log into the server through the client. They manage their own faction which begins as a clan and eventually build the faction into a Dynasty. Resource management, trade routes, diplomacy all play an important role but the unique thing about the game is the fact that kingdoms hire/recruit and train hero characters in different skills which in turn benefit the kingdom. For instance, a clan hires a hero that has the skill Farmer at a high level. They gain food quicker and much more at a time due to the skill level of the hero. Each game has its own unique and interesting aspects with much more than mentioned here. The only thing thats currently stopping me from producing the games is a programmer. I have game design skills above many of the professionals in the gaming industry today; no joke, try me out sometime if you don''t believe me. I''m also an excellent artist with great conceptual skills visually and written. I''ve had 10 years of experience with D&D, AD&D, Console RPGs, PC RPGs and even free-form based RPGs. I''ve also played strategy games and CCG games for at least 8 years. My online community organization and structuring skills are superior to most due to the fact that for 4 years I created free-form gaming structures for chat based roleplaying; designing rules, balancing out combat systems, spell systems and as well developing solutions that allowed better roleplaying despite the limits to chat based roleplaying. My skills also expand into website design(though, I don''t get into the programming aspects). Also, I''m very organized and I pay attention to detail. Vision: The ultimate goal beside completing one of the games, hopefully both, is to create an online gaming type network featuring many different types of games. Plans have been in development for this for some time though most of my focus is on the games. As you can see the project has a vision and a goal. Skies the limit and we will take it as far as we wish; depending on how well we feel the project is and if each person wishes to pursue further.
