I'm looking for work [deleted by moderator] free hobby projects if it interests me.

email me at secretreality7@gmail.com

I've lead PR, HR, and writing before

I am a general administrator that can help keep your project on track.

I've also done recruitment before.as well as put together a press kit or Public relations.

My role would be to take a lot of the managerial tasks off the other developers so they can focus on their jobs.

Hello!
Could you expand as to what your offer entails? How would you cover production is essentially my question.

Just a stab, but I think most hobby teams will associate a producer with somebody who takes away their autonomy and screw over their ideas. Perhaps you should elaborate a bit on what you can actually do for them.

yea you might be right

i'll add some stuff

But it also maybe they think they don't need a producer?

I could need a producer / project manger but I don't think this is what you are looking for

I am entering very early prep for a game meant for free distribution for families with limited funds (big, weird overall project, I'll skip the details here…). If you have some interest in the planning stages, I could probably do with an experienced voice in my ear. I will be posting the earliest, very bare ones work ‘document’ in here somewhere today, if all goes well, just gotta visit the cat at the hospital…

Well to be fair, I asked you what your role entailed but you didn’t even reply. As a potential collaborator, it’s not a good first impression and when you don’t know someone a first impression is all you get.

I think that’s a missed opportunity. The programmer I hired was enthusiastic and forthcoming about my initial inquiry. As producer, I would I imagine you’d need to be on the ball as far as communication is concerned.

Anyway, I was/am very interested in hiring a producer which really is too bad. I think when providing a service, it’s the little things that matter, especially at the beginning.

@Zizka Sorry if i didn't respond fast enough,I don't keep a eye on this site as much as I used to. I didn't see your question.

Maybe it;s just jobs like producer that need to explain what they do, vs, someone like an artist which all they need to do is to put up a portfolio

I would help by acting as a management conduit.

If your a developer who is doing coding or art and also taking on the management aspect I can help you with coordination an just report to you.

Production is this weird amorphos thing that means something different to everyone.

I can help with managing a project. reviewing tasks and to do lists making sure the team is on track. This function is usually needed in larger teams,
