So a little while ago I put together a card game.

I'm now trying to figure out where I should be hosting the product, so the general public and interested parties can buy.

Option 1: host it on my company site

Option 2: make a website just for this specific game

What yall think?

It's 2024. Run it through Steam, Epic, Amazon, Google Play, and any other outlets that would sell or distribute your game.

Sure you can host it on your own machines but the masses won't trust it, will be reluctant to run the installer, and will not want to use your payment system.

Your company site doesn't even have a valid security certificate, and Firefox doesn't let me visit it. So maybe fix that first before trying to sell anything there.

this is a physical card game

Hehe… 'Board games or card games are meh. Physical is not cool. If it's real, it's static, and boring. We want the virtual stuff, where anything is possible, but nothing is real.'

Because of this mentality, i would make a specific website.
But ofc. there are board game distributors / publishers too, i guess.

General, looks like you certificate has been renewed by your webhost.

If you make a separate site for your card game, I would think you'd advertise it and link to it on honorgames.
