Disable "Your Announcements" on home page

Not at the moment, but I'd like to make the home page customizable. So let me look at that...

@nubdevice , when you say “home page” are you referring to https://www.gamedev.net or are you referring to https://www.gamedev.net/forums/ ?

Years of apologies with respect, and the deviation from protocol when the post was moved was not lost on me.
Reviewing social media, it's clear we don't share a certain political view but I try to know my place and am aware I often shoot my own foot in someone else's house.

Yes, to me “home page” would refer to root index. (i.e. https://www.gamedev.net)
I've seen some visibility control for the major forum groupings though the dashboard account settings/content page but (correct me if I'm wrong) it doesn't appear to include the Community group or better yet subsections of it. No worries because the mission has already been accomplished and one may argue that the Lounge was actually the correct original placement for the purpose.

Thank you Tom for the excellent daily grind. That has to be rough at times.
