Could someone explain how to get transparent textures using Paint and OGL? I have looked through the Paint docs and found nothing on how data is stored. Through reading of some tutorials i think i got how to create the RGBA texture in OGL, but now sure. Any help appreceated.

As far as I know MS Paint cannot handle an alpha channel. You can try another art program (such as Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, or the GIMP). Paint Shop Pro has a demo on their website (I''m not sure what they remove from it or if it has a time limit). The GIMP is free, but its Win32 port kind of sucks (memory leaks and random crashing; It''s much better in *nix ). I''m sure there''s some kind of program you can use.
