Hello everyone. I decided to install my copy of Red Hat Linux 7.2 on a different computer than the one I had it on. However, for some reason I didn''t keep track of which drive the master boot loader was on. I now think I installed it on C, and Linux on D. Also on my C drive is Windows 2000. I used the Grub boot loader program to select which OS I wanted. As it turns out, I later didn''t want Linux on this computer. Since I figured everything Linux was on my D drive, I did a high level format (in Windows) of my non-Windows D drive, to get Linux off that computer. Well, all seemed fine and dandy, until I rebooted. I got a "text based" Grub boot loader program, which didn''t seem to do anything. Basically I have no way to boot Windows. My question, how can I restore Windows, without ruining my hard drive? By that I mean, not losing any data? Can I reinstall the boot program and such, over my ruined one, and go on as normal? If so, how? I put the Windows disk in but I didn''t see any recovery options like that, without partitioning my disk and starting from scratch. Oh, by the way, I get that "Missing NTLDR" message, if that helps any. I hope you understand what I mean. Well, thanks for any help!
Regards.
