Original Post
I''m posting this message today in an attempt to obtain an
intermediate to advanced level VB programmer to
develop and maintain tools needed for a game we (Forced
Evolution Studios) are working on.
This is not a paid job (yet), and the game is very far
from completion, but rest assured we''re all in it for the
long haul (alot of us have been working on concept and
tools for over 9 months now).
Our team consists of about 6 people at the moment... we''re
hoping to make it 7 very soon.
I''ve personally developed 2 tools that we currently use..
PiXe, and Relm (pixe is a pixel-level sprite editor and
will eventually be a tileset/npc animation editor, and
relm is a fully featured map editor).
Both tools are very far along, i just need someone to
maintain them as new needs arise, and develop new tools
or applications we may need.
And, to practice what i preach- here is some information
about myself:
I have 7 years programming background total,
ranging from GW-BASIC to C#.
I primarily use C++ and Visual Basic, thus making
Microsoft''s Visual Studio my drug of choice.
In addition to programming, i enjoy many forms of art-
including (but not limited to) music, drawing/painting,
and writing.
If you''re interested in joining the team, and would
like to know more about myself or others involved with the
project (for whatever reason), email me and we''ll talk
turkey.
The game itself will be coded in C++ and OpenGL (Orthographic).
some concept art to motivate and inspire:
