Obviously you''re already fully aware of this but YES YES YES do not make these stats available regularly.

I''ve been on many message boards where the stats were available and you wind up with 5-10 jackasses that respond to virtually every post with inane blather, and create 20 useless posts of their own per day just to keep up in the ''rankings''.

I don''t understand why ''they'' do it (sure, they get the highest stat, but everyone else on the msg board not playing that game just tags them as a huge idiot), but there seems to be quite a few of those types of people.

If, as recently claimed, pouya and nes8bit are the same person, then that would put them at a total ranking of about 13 posts per day, taking them to the top of the post per day list, although if they have been registered for different time, this figure might not be quite accurate.

I was away from here for several months and I''m STILL in the list of people with most posts

It''s refreshing to see that I''ve simply managed to accumulate a lot of posts in a long time of being here, because I''m not a terribly frequent poster.
It's only funny 'till someone gets hurt. And then it's just hilarious.Unless it's you.

Can we also get text size per day and total text size statistics? (not including signatures if possible)

This should cut the importance of the one liners a bit (although thinking of the random complaint times..).

Yes, I would really like to see the text size statistics (word count and character count). I think that would definitely show where the substance is.

I was just going to post that too. I think you would probably win just based on one post though

Should the irrelevant postings be ignored, the list would change rather dramatically.
They''d change, no question, but probably not dramatically. In my estimation, maybe 7 people tops on each list are there because of a lot of crap posts (and some of those people make a lot of helpful posts as well). Of the others, virtually 100% of their posts are helpful.

Same here. Although I''m #14 on the total posts list, I came in at #65 of the frequency list. Obviously, I''ve been here longer than anyone else.

I''ll see what I can do. That information isn''t going to be as easy to get at. The total number of posts and registration date are in the user profile; to get the average post size, I''m going to have to check every post for every member - that''s 10 billion posts. If the server goes down in the next couple of days, you now know why.

I seriously doubt it, as I''ve talked to both Nes and Pouya on TA multiple times...

Noooo, you don''t understand. I have deleted about 1500 of my posts
