I honestly don''t know why it disappeared, or how to fix it. A while ago, Mike added caching using XML to improve performance. For some reason, ever since then, closed posts aren''t marked properly. Everything in the code suggests that they should be.

Or, then again, maybe I can fix it.

Yes, it is annoying to go to a post, and then want to reply, only too see "TOPIC CLOSED."

Of course I''d volunteer to fix it, but:

1) I''m not staff (obviously).
2) I know nothing about the forum system

In my second post, I meant that much to my surprise, I was able to find the problem and fix it.
