Original Post
Alright, hello everyone!
Ok, I''m going to be honest; this post is actually more of a little "experiment" than anything else. I don''t really expect anyone to pick up on this since we do have fairly high standards.
Then I also want to give you just a small warning; Before reading this post you may want to go ahead and read some other threads of interest right here on this forum to get an fair idea where I''m coming from and my views on how to handle independent game development:
why teams fail
successful projects
There''s a few other nice threads too, but those two should get you started.
Anyway, on with it. eh?
We''re looking for a C++ programmer for an yet unannounced and (relativity) short-term project. The game in question is a "2d action game with extremely stylish 3d graphics and design" using OpenGL. The programming is already well underway (we have a running prototype up, etc). If we were to find someone for this position that person would most likely have to take on a fairly active role to lead the programming though since I would personally just want to leave it and concentrate on getting the art worked out.
So, if you know some OpenGL, some 3d math, C++, have a whole load of time and know you would want to work with a small and extremely concentrated team with absolutely no way to fail (see one of my post in the ''successful projects'' thread for my explanation of why =) just send me an email at shockman@witentertainment.com and convince me you can get the job done.
Any other questions, just shoot them over too. I''m not going anywhere.
Have a nice one,
