As for philosophical debates revolving aroung religion, politics, morals, and so on, it''s all so much drivel based on one''s opinions against another''s. Resolution is unlikely, it has been debated before, and few come away with any real practical new insights on life or what it has to offer.

Some of the truest words ever spoken on this forum.
I agree with most of what you say, bishop_pass, but it''s hard to keep everyone happy on a message board.
Personally, I don''t mind religious discussions if they are discussed maturely. I hope every time that one is started that that''s how it''ll be discussed but most of the kids visiting these sites get pretty emotional.
Ever see that "pictures of you" thread? People here are teens. Most of them would rather reply with a "f*** you" or "you''re an idiot" than with something that makes sense.
Don''t expect maturity on these boards. You''ll be disappointed.

You really expect most of the teens here would want to say that? I believe you're mistaken, even if this forum has half-way succumbed to silliness the maturity level is not low.

bishop_pass: Amen.
Everyone else: I honestly believe that if a significant portion of the community decided to make the threads here more meaningful, in time, they would be. I don''t think that the average forum-goer here is as immature as you think. There are just a few vocal ones who set the tone.

I''m trying guys.
I''m probably not even going to post in the lounge unless I need to give a harmless opinion on a thread posted by someone who I know isn''t going to start a flame war.
That''s pretty much how the rest of the ''crap posters'' should be now.
