If anyone know the code for Microsoft sidewinder 3D Pro, please post it here. (tutorial, website for code, whatever) Waldoo
code?

do you mean for the force feedback? or just the joystick controls.

All of the controls for directions, hihat and multiple buttons plus rudder and one throttle can be done using the normal windows code.

I mean the whole code for it. If you know of a good tutorial website please post url address and I will check it out. By the way I am newbie as vincoof recommended me to say it.

oh okay, well I haven''t got any examples for it but if your compiler has the help files for it, look up the Microsoft help files.

I think they are under one called "multimedia" (no idea why) or "controller" guide.

If not, just do a search for joystick under the win32 developers guide.

I will look at it later, and if there is an example in it I will post it. Otherwise hope someone else here catches the thread.

Good luck.

I assume you''re talking about DirectInput.

Go to Microsoft''s MSDN site, and look for DirectInput. The documentation is a bit difficult to read sometimes, but you should be able to work it out.

Also, I''d recommend downloading the DirectX SDK - there is a lot of example code etc in it. And if you''re using a modem - tough! I just managed 180mb of downloads - so the size is no excuse

A joystick has no source... if you mean DirectInput Force Feedback, lotsa tutorials on that one.

Actually, I''m writing one myself...
