Concept Artist for Hire

What exactly does a concept artist do? 
Is it like making models, or making drawings/sketches so you get the inspiration for models? I ask this because I thought you made models but on your site I only saw some pictures that looked as if they were drawn by hand

yup. thats all a concept artist does.
I could use a concept artist for NPCs (Villagers and the like) in my RPG project.
Though, my funds are very limited...

I am looking for realistic concept art the stuff on your site is more cartoonish. Do you dabble in the weapons and making of a character for a game? I would need 3 cia agents and about 13 other models but not sure if you do this kinda of concept art?
