I recently got a DVD player which came with an S-Video cable. Problem is my digital cable box is already using the only S-Video input to the TV. Basically, I have two cables and only one input. I''ve been looking for a splitter, and there are two kinds, manual and passive. The manual being a box with a toggle switch (yuck), and the passive being automatic. Is there a performance diference between the two? The link below is the one that I ''think'' I''m going to buy, but I want to make sure that it does what I think it does before I actually buy it. http://www.a2zcables.com/a2zcables.storefront/3cb0dc7e00a85ad2271a424d361d067e/Product/View/VA42 -Dan

Do you happen to have a SCART connector in your television...? You can simply buy an svideo-to-scart adapter then ^_^
