I am designing a 3D model editor. Since vertices will be added and removed from the model all the time, creating and destroying vertex buffers doesn''t sound like fun. Can I send DrawPrimitiveUP a linked list of vertices? Does it want the vertices in an array? Then I could make an array of the appropriate size with a pointer, fill it with data from my linked lists and send it to DrawPrimitiveUP. Thanx. Proceeding on a brutal rampage is the obvious choice.

I could easily write a function that stepped through every node in the linked list and called DrawPrimitiveUP for that vertex.

Proceeding on a brutal rampage is the obvious choice.

2 Options

1: Use DrapPrimitiveUP - Performance probably isn''t that important to you.

2: Set up a the largest VB you can and fill it as you need.
