Do you mean converting from binary to hexadecimal? Because, those are number bases, just like decimal. We only use decimal because we have 10 fingers, that is what it is based off of. If we had two, in total, we''d use binary, etc. :-)

Thats not very nice calling him an idiot !

Urm well C++ does not have that built into it you need to create your own alogrithm for converting bases. It does though automatically initilize it to either octogen, hex or decimal:

int HexNumber=0x2; // 0x before numnber
int OctNumber=02; // 0 before number
int Base10Number=34; // Nuthin

Now C++ will automatically change to Base10 e.g. If I did this:

cout<
for the alogrithm I can''t be bothred to explain how they work but checkout planet-source-code.com , there are loads of examples

hope this helps WizHarD
who is it that keeps on nicking WizHarD name !! :P
