Hi there, I used of CD3DMesh class that is available in dxsdk 8. I wanna load the tiger.x mesh by CD3DMesh ... But i have big problem, i can''t see the texture on the tiger !!! I didn''t use light in my program, i used ambient light. Here is my source code for loading the tiger: CD3DMesh test; . . . test.Create(obj_D3D.GetD3DDevice(), "E:\\mssdk\\samples\\Multimedia\\Media\\tiger.x"); test.SetFVF(obj_D3D.GetD3DDevice(), D3DFVF_XYZ | D3DFVF_NORMAL | D3DFVF_TEX1); test.UseMeshMaterials( TRUE ); test.RestoreDeviceObjects(obj_D3D.GetD3DDevice()); and in rendering: test.Render(obj_D3D.GetD3DDevice()); I could see only a white tiger Anyway, can you write source code for using ambient light ? Please tell me your idea. Thanks.

Check if the texture file is in the correct path.

I''m not quite sure of all the ins and outs of that wrapper class for .x file meshes, but is there a function similar to "UseMeshMaterials(TRUE)" that has to do with textures? i.e.: "UseMeshTextures(TRUE)"? Just a thought.

Hi HanSoL0,
There is not function with this name: "UseMeshMaterials(TRUE)".

Hi Toyemann,
I think that is true ...
Let me see again, hmmm.
Yes, that is true, tiger.x is beside of tiger.bmp ...
Can you help me ?
