Why not just look in the SDK, or use Google? There are plenty of examples.
That was a polite way of saying RTFM and STFW. Also, asking people to e-mail you a respone is extremely bad form, as this is a community forum.

Thanx for the response, siaspete. I have checked the SDK (No bitmap examples in the two versions I have). I've also Googled.
Mickey, thank-you for the suggestion and the kind words. I'll check Genesis out.
Oh.. siaspete. That was a polite way of saying @$#% off you $#@%ing @#$hole.

Frankly, siaspete was trying to be helpful. If you downloaded the full SDK (which is usually a safe thing to assume), you should have the example programs (which do exactly what you're looking for). And the documentation that comes with the DX SDK should have a half-assedly written tutorial to accompany the example source.
If you only downloaded the compact version (just headers and libs) then you wouldn't have the examples. How was he to have known?
And often, articles will come with a demo EXE and source code to work from. So there you go.
Geez, it's getting so damn annoying how all these people come in here looking to be handed info and when they're told to find it themselves, they get rude. When people suggest to RTFM and STFW, it's because it would be easy to find what you're looking for if you just looked instead of begged.
